clandestine

I’m creating a blog, but am not telling anyone. I must admit, it’s a little exciting- kind of like a clandestine love affair. An affair between the written word, crafted in the quiet places and the wide-open information super highway…

I enjoy writing. It’s often how I best straighten out and complete my jumbled and disjointed thoughts. I’m not a wordsmith by any means, but I do savor the satisfactory feeling of finding just the right way of saying whatever has been rolling around in my head for days on end.

Sometimes I’m asked by friends if I’ll share what I write. Often what is scrawled or typed is a wee bit personal, but I occasionally share. And that is the point of this little blog: to share. Perhaps one of my bogus analogies will edify a reader. Perhaps an instance in my life will inspire one in the life of another. Perhaps I’ll never know…

I feel as though I’m in a weird in between stage… One chapter of my life is finished, and another is about to begin. What is in between? There are new pages being written every day. Living at my parent’s house for the summer, watching friends get married and have babies, being stuck in a state of constant daydream… that gives me plenty to write about. I am so thankful that I am not the author of my own story. Praise to the One who is carefully crafting my story, page by page!

I’ll reveal my little affair in due time, but probably not until I’ve caught it up to speed with some of my old essays, and perhaps a new one or two.

Au revoir... for now.
